Welcome to Daylens By downloading, installing, or using the Daylens app ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Daylens is a personal milestone and countdown app. It allows you to create and manage important dates (e.g. anniversaries, events), view them on a calendar, add home screen widgets, and use Apple Watch. Data is stored locally on your device by default; optional features may use cloud or other services as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Free and Paid Use

• Free use: You may create up to 5 milestones without a subscription. Additional features may be limited.
• Paid subscription: To create more than 5 milestones and access premium features, you must subscribe to Daylens membership. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal are governed by the Apple App Store (or other platform where you obtained the App). Refunds are subject to the platform’s policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
• Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App or its content in a way that infringes our or others’ rights.
• Use the App for any commercial resale or service without our permission.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, and software (excluding your own data), is owned by us or our licensors. You do not acquire any ownership by using the App.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. We are not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or indirect damages arising from your use of the App, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or, if no payment, zero).

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes (e.g. in the App or by email if we have it). Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.
