Welcome to PocketVoyager ("App," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the PocketVoyager application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PocketVoyager, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the App provider.

## 2. Description of Service

PocketVoyager is a mobile application that allows users to:
- Track daily steps and activity through Apple Health integration
- Unlock virtual travel destinations and collect photos
- Customize a virtual cat companion
- Purchase in-app subscriptions (Meow Pro) and consumable items (fish) to enhance the experience

The App is available on iOS and Apple Watch. Use of certain features may require an active internet connection and compatible devices.

## 3. Account and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

Your use of the App is subject to your compliance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and any applicable Apple Developer Program License Agreement.

## 4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

### 4.1 Meow Pro Subscription

PocketVoyager offers a premium subscription ("Meow Pro") that provides additional features, including:
- Increased fish (energy) capacity
- Faster energy recovery
- Exclusive visual identifiers
- Access to future premium features

Subscription fees are charged through your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage and cancel subscriptions in your device Settings under Apple ID > Subscriptions.

### 4.2 Consumable Purchases

The App offers consumable in-app purchases (e.g., fish bundles). These items are used within the App and cannot be refunded once consumed. Unused consumables may be lost if the App is uninstalled.

### 4.3 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through the appropriate channels. We do not process refunds directly.

### 4.4 Redeem Codes

You may redeem promotional or offer codes through the App or App Store. Codes are subject to the terms specified at the time of issuance and may have expiration dates or usage limits.

## 5. User Conduct

You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Use cheats, exploits, or unauthorized modifications
- Share or transfer your account to others
- Interfere with the App's operation or other users' experience

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

## 6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and materials within PocketVoyager are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

## 7. Health Data

The App integrates with Apple Health to read step count data for features such as daily goals and energy (fish) rewards. We do not sell or share your health data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

## 8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

## 9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

## 10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or through other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

## 11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App provider operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
