This Privacy Policy explains how Calm Rhythm (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Calm Rhythm mobile application (the “App”). Please read it carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Calm Rhythm is a client‑side wellness app focused on stress awareness and lifestyle insights. The App processes health‑related data from Apple Health / HealthKit on your device to generate metrics, visualizations, and local notifications. At this time, the App does not create user accounts and does not transfer your Health data to our servers.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Health Data (via Apple Health / HealthKit)

With your explicit permission, Calm Rhythm may read the following data from Apple Health / HealthKit:

• Heart rate (e.g., resting heart rate, recent heart rate samples)
• Heart rate variability (HRV)
• Step count and activity data
• Sleep analysis (sleep duration and sleep stages, where available)

We do not write new data to Apple Health unless a feature clearly indicates that it will save a result to Health, and you explicitly allow it.

Apple Health / HealthKit data is considered sensitive and is handled accordingly.

2.2 Device and Usage Data

The App may process the following information on your device:

• In‑app settings and preferences (e.g., notification settings, language preference, last selected view)
• Basic usage interactions (e.g., which features you enable, such as “real‑time HRV monitoring”)

This information is stored locally on your device, typically via system storage mechanisms such as UserDefaults. We do not use third‑party analytics SDKs in the App unless explicitly disclosed in an updated version of this Policy.
