1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Jianwei Chen (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Amazing Music Player (the “App”), a macOS music player available on the Mac App Store.

We designed the App to play music stored on your device. We do not operate user accounts, social networks, or advertising platforms.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not knowingly collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number through the App (unless you email us for support).
• Payment card or billing details (handled entirely by Apple).
• Contacts, calendars, photos, or messages.
• Browsing history or cross-app tracking data for advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Information Processed on Your Device

3.1 Music Library and Imported Files

When you import audio files, the App:

• Reads files you explicitly select through the macOS file picker.
• Stores security-scoped bookmarks and/or copies of selected files in the App’s container so playback can continue between sessions.
• Reads audio metadata (title, artist, album, artwork, embedded lyrics) to display in the player.

This data remains on your Mac unless you delete it or uninstall the App.
