Daylens ("we," "our," or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

• Data you create in the App: Milestone titles, dates, categories, notes, cover images, locations, and similar content you enter are stored on your device (and, if you use iCloud or other enabled features, in the services you have chosen). We do not upload this data to our own servers for advertising or profiling.
• Device and usage: We may collect anonymous usage data (e.g. app launches, feature use) to improve the App, only if you have not disabled analytics in your device or app settings. We do not sell your personal data.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the App (e.g. showing your milestones, widgets, and countdowns).
• To comply with law or protect our rights, if required.
• For any other purpose described in this policy or with your consent.

3. Data Storage and Sharing

• Local storage: Your milestones and settings are stored on your device (and in App Group storage used by the app and its extensions, e.g. widgets and Watch app). This data stays on your device unless you use a feature that explicitly syncs it (e.g. iCloud).
• Third parties: We do not sell or rent your data. We may use third-party services (e.g. Apple’s services for in-app purchase, analytics if enabled) that process data according to their own policies. Where we use such services, we choose providers that respect privacy and applicable law.

4. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Because most data is stored on your device, you can delete it by deleting the data in the App or uninstalling the App. For any other request, contact us using the details below.

We use reasonable measures to protect your data within the App and in any processing we control. No system is 100% secure; you use the App at your own risk.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will indicate the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, we will notify you in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated policy.
